According to details, Parveen's family members and neighbours informed the police when she did not respond to any call. Meanwhile, a police party reached the spot and entered the room of the deceased by breaking down the door. Police said the body was tied up with a chair and had rope marks around the neck.
Investigators say that apparently it seems that the former MPA was murdered due to an old property dispute. However, they said they were investigating the matter after collecting evidences from the site and the actual reason behind that crime would be shared with the media after the release of post-mortem report. The former MPA, who was 64-year-old, had started her political career in late 1970s and was a member of the local government in Lahore.
